As of January 2011 the Montgomery BIA became the tenth  BIA in the City of Calgary, and a member of CBIZ. 

Calgary's BIAs independently and collectively strive to represent their member businesses by promoting and enhancing their respective business districts and the community at large.  Recognition of the economic enhancement that BIAs add to the City of Calgary has led to the development of strong working relations between CBIZ, The City of Calgary and Calgary Economic Development. Our shared goal is to augment and promote economic development in Calgary's established business districts.
