Chalk the Block

Due to the new water main repairs scheduled for August 25 - September on 16th Avenue - we are unable to move forward with our event.

With the re-routing of traffic to Bowness Road - we are unable to close the road for this event. We do hope you will continue to check in with us when we start to plan for 2025.

We look forward to bringing colour and creativity to the streets with artwork, vendors and entertainers.

We are excited to host Montgomery's First Chalk Competition & Street Festival in Montgomery. This one day event will combine a live chalkart competition along with local vendors, live music & entertainment, face painting, street performers and beer garden.

Artists start at 9 am, Vendors & Entertainment starts at 11 and voting starts at 4 pm with Cash/Prizes being awarded at 4:30 by celebrity artists.

When: June 22, 2024 11AM - 5PM

Where: Bowness Road between 45th & 47th Street NW
